Although predominately based in the UK, ProDiverse undertakes work outside the UK and a number of our programmes are designed in such a way that we are able to customise them for delivery in any country.
ProDiverse provides a consulting service primarily concerned with the design, implementation and evaluation of community and economic development policies and strategies with a strong bias on diversity. Familiar with the problems and opportunities that arise in communities, towns or cities, ProDiverse is competent working in policy and programme development at local, national and international levels. We work in close partnership with clients from the public, private and community sectors pursuing creative and innovative approaches, and emphasising the value of learning from the experiences and lessons of others.
ProDiverse has an international network of firms and associations. ProDiverse has undertaken a wide variety of assignments throughout the UK as well as in a number of other countries within Western Europe and Africa. In this vein we have sponsored the activities of AVENIR NEPAD INTERNATIONAL UK, a NEPAD civil society network Diaspora organisation with branches worldwide.

- Enhancing the visions and skills of individuals, groups and communities whilst promoting practical approaches to achieve cooperation.
- Facilitating development based on learning from the experiences and lessons of others through the exchange of ideas, strategies, resources and contacts.
- Promoting an enterprising response to change and development where attitudes, skills, processes and organisations are enhanced.
- Helping residents and development agents to analyse the dynamics of communities in order to maximise their opportunities and resources to become healthy, sustainable and vibrant places to live, learn and work.
Areas of Expertise
ProDiverse is skilled and experienced in the following fields of activity and believe that we along with other members of the Diaspora involved in similar work and with similar expertise could assist in the following ways.

- Business Development: working in partnership with enterprise agencies, to set policies and approaches to facilitate the growth of entrepreneurial activity within a given locality or amongst a specific group of people. Programmes such as Women into Business programme which provided entrepreneurial skills training for women wishing to set up their businesses.

- Local Economic Profiling and Opportunity Identification: Assistance to enable communities to identify local needs, strengths, weaknesses and opportunities as the factors that form the basis for future economic development strategies. Includes practical strategies that enable communities to initiate, plan and implement their own social and economic development.
- Youth Development: working with public sector organisations, such as the Learning and Skills Council and the Department of works and Pension and local authorities in the UK and South Africa to set initiatives that promote the involvement and development of young people and their communities.
