Skills4 Jobs - LocalEmployment Partnership ‘s are a new groundbreaking way ofnationally giving 250,000 Jobseekers who have been overlooked and whoare most deprived the opportunity to acquire the skills needed toget into work and to develop those skills to stay and furtherprogress in work by 2010. 

Thisprogramme funded by LSC in partnership with DWP enables ProDiverse toprovide abespoke job matching serviceundertaking skills assessments and training to enable job seekers toapply for current vacancies in this current highly competitivemarket. Our experienced staff will work with individuals focusingon their transferrable skills and how they can be aligned to meetEmployers needs and to provide any training to fill any skills gapidentified. 

LocalLEP's were launched in the 2007 budget

• LEP's are about Jobcentre plus and partners working with employers, providers and sector bodies to ensure that disadvantaged customers get the preparation and training that enable them to meet employers' needs and expectations.
  
• ProDiverse will work with Employers who sign up to LEP and agree to open up vacancies to those disadvantaged in the labour market who are often overlooked
  
• Through LEP's employers have the opportunity to link their approaches to recruitment and skills, for example by influencing pre-employment training or by linking LEPrecruitment and workforce development.
  
• This project is to be delivered in partnership with LSC and JCP. We will address the multiple barriers to employment faced by our target groups to increase their inclusion in mainstream society through securing high quality, sustainable employment.
